Cut a Shape Puzzle

Puzzles are a fun way to teach basic shapes and sizes, or more complex subjects such as sequencing, vocabulary, math and grammar.

Watch this tutorial to use puzzles in your TinyTap games:

Know your audience
TinyTap is mostly used by 2-6 year old kids, on iPhones.
Use large enough puzzle pieces, so they can be easily moved on smaller screens
Remember that kids at different ages have different levels of fine motor skills.

Match your puzzle sizes and number of pieces to the child’s age.

You can add audio to accompany your puzzle pieces by tapping on the green pencil and recording.

Always keep an empty space or box, to contain all of your puzzle pieces.
